Plot
Charlie is an obese man in his fifties. He lives alone, spends his days sitting on the sofa taking online writing courses, watching TV and eating compulsively. In her life there are Liz, a nurse friend who takes care of her increasingly precarious state of health, and her seventeen-year-old daughter Ellie who she abandoned when she was a child to follow the love of her life, Adam, whose subsequent suicide is to the cause of his obesity. Feeling death approaching, Charlie decides to spend the remaining time reconciling with Ellie, who has never forgiven him for his choice...
